This customer approached West Wales Paving looking to transform their existing driveway into a smart, contemporary entrance that would complement the natural stone exterior of their property.
The original driveway had become tired and uneven, and the customer wanted a more attractive, practical and low-maintenance surface for everyday vehicle use.
Our team began by carrying out the necessary groundworks and driveway preparation, ensuring the area was ready for the new resin bound installation.
For this project, we installed Daltex Moonshadow resin bound surfacing, creating a beautiful light grey finish that works particularly well alongside the warm tones of the property’s stonework.
To add definition and contrast, we incorporated a Daltex Polaris border, creating a striking dark outline that frames the driveway and highlights the entrance to the property.
The carefully selected combination of aggregates provides a clean, contemporary appearance, while the contrasting border adds a bespoke finishing touch.
The completed transformation has given the customer a smart, durable and low-maintenance driveway, significantly improving the property’s kerb appeal while retaining practical access to the house and garage.
This project demonstrates how combining different Daltex resin bound aggregate blends can create a personalised driveway design that complements the character of an individual property.
